CURRENT REPORT BLOG The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on President Bola Tinubu to personally visit the sites of the Christmas Eve attacks in the Bokkos and Barkin Ladi communities of Plateau State, where over 150 individuals were killed by gunmen. Vice President Kashim Shettima, accompanied by the National Security Adviser, visited the scene and assured residents that the Tinubu administration would vigorously pursue justice for the victims. In response, the PDP expressed concerns over intelligence failures and raised questions about the government’s role, urging Tinubu to address citizens’ fears by personally visiting the affected communities and outlining concrete steps to apprehend the perpetrators and their sponsors.

The opposition party criticized President Tinubu’s silence and absence, labeling it as grave insensitivity and dereliction of duty. The party called on Tinubu to reassure the nation by taking immediate action and addressing the concerns surrounding the coordinated killings in Plateau State.
