CURRENT REPORT BLOG Posters of the recently retired Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, have been spotted around Abuja, barely 48 hours after he left office.
Bello’s posters were seen on buildings’ walls and fences surrounding the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat on Blantyre Street in Wuse 2 in Abuja, as well as near the Federal Secretariat.
His posters carried the inscription: “APC Next Level. Alhaji Yahaya Bello as APC National Chairman. Leading the Change, Building a Stronger APC.”
According to the posters, Bello was running for the National Chairmanship of the All Progressives Congress APC.
Abdullahi Ganduje, a former Kano State governor, is the APC National Chairman at the moment.
At the August 3, 2023, APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, Ganduje was chosen to succeed Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who had tendered his resignation.
