Ondo State Governor Nominates Ajulo, and Five Others as Commissioners

CURRENT REPORT BLOG Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has nominated three special advisers and six commissioners.

Their names have been sent by Aiyedatiwa to the state House of Assembly for verification and screening.

Among the new special advisers and commissioner nominations were three of the commissioners and two of the special advisers whom the governor fired last week.

Razaq Obe, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan, and Barrister Akinwumi Sowore are among the former commissioners who have put in their nominations; Oseni Oyeniyi and Mrs. Olamide Falana are among the former special advisers.

Hon. Olugbenga Omole is a former head of the House Committee on Information and a former member of the Assembly.

The commissioner nominees were identified as Mrs. Omowumi Isaac, Mr. Olukayode A. Ajulo, SAN, Engr. Razaq Obe, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan, Barrister Akinwumi Sowore, and Oseni Oyeniyi in a statement issued in Akure and signed by the governor’s chief press secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.

According to Adeniyan, the special advisers are Mr. Alabi Johnson, Special Adviser on Energy; Mrs. Olamide Falana, Special Adviser on Gender Affairs; and Hon. Olugbenga Omole, Special Adviser on Information & Strategy.
