CURRENT REPORT BLOG The Nigeria Police Force Intelligence Bureau – Intelligence Response Team, led by operatives acting on intelligence, successfully neutralized several suspected kidnappers, including kingpin Musa Wada-Magaji, aka Sabo, in an operation at Mpape, Abuja. In a 30-minute gun battle, the police engaged the armed bandits, eliminating Musa Wada, who was identified as the mastermind behind numerous kidnappings in Mpape, Bwari, Kagarko, Masaka, and Nukun Village. This operation followed the recent killing of his associate on February 8, 2024. The police, under the leadership of the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, also successfully destroyed the camps of these notorious kidnappers, known for causing distress to Abuja residents.

Recovered items from the hideout, including mobile phones, multiple SIM cards, charms, and drugs, serve as crucial evidence for ongoing investigations. The raid, executed by the FIB-IRT through a surprise assault in the outskirts of Mpape Hills, demonstrated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to combat crime and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
