According to the statement, Bello regards President Tinubu with the utmost respect as his father and benefactor, and any attempts to sow discord between them will fail. The organization highlighted Bello’s consistent support for President Tinubu, especially in mobilizing political will among emerging leaders in the North, amidst economic challenges facing the nation.

The statement rebuked what it termed as “vile comments by sponsored social media trolls” aimed at tarnishing Bello’s character and causing unnecessary division between him and President Tinubu. It emphasized the need for national unity in addressing pressing issues such as insecurity and economic downturn, regardless of political affiliations.

The Kogi Peoples Movement urged detractors to refrain from reviving old narratives and to respect Bello’s right to private life while maintaining his allegiance to President Tinubu. It reiterated the unbreakable bond between Bello and President Tinubu, dismissing any attempts to suggest otherwise.
