According to Odumeje, his spiritual prowess, specifically his ‘Abidoshaker’ power, was responsible for the significant drop in the dollar’s value against the naira.
Reports indicate that the naira has experienced a notable appreciation against the US dollar, with exchange rates ranging between N1,360 and N1,408.04 per USD in both parallel and official foreign exchange markets. This positive shift marks a substantial improvement from recent weeks when the naira was exchanging at N1,920 per USD.
In the video captured during one of his church services, Odumeje confidently asserted, “I used ‘Abidoshaker.’ When I am speaking about powers, I am not a joker.” He emphasized his track record of miraculous deeds, claiming that his declaration to influence the dollar’s exchange rate was not empty rhetoric but a demonstration of his supernatural abilities.
The controversial pastor further declared his intentions to continue wielding his powers, proclaiming, “I will still bring down the dollar and still handle the presidential seat of Nigeria.” Despite the audacity of his claims, Odumeje expressed unwavering confidence in his ability to manifest his desires, citing his purported history of fulfilled prophecies and miracles.
