Bay FC forward Assist Oshoala is set to be the final player to join the Super Falcons camp, arriving on Thursday, just a day before the first leg of the qualifier. Head coach Randy Waldrum and a select group of players, including Rasheedat Ajibade, Ashleigh Plumptre, Linda Jiwaku, and Jumoke Alani, have already been hard at work in preparation since the camp opened on Sunday.

The upcoming two-legged contest will see the Super Falcons face off against Banyana Banyana, with the first leg scheduled to take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday. The teams will then reconvene in Pretoria five days later for the second leg.

The stakes are high for both sides as the winner of this qualifier will secure a coveted spot in Group C at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. Joining powerhouses Brazil, Japan, and Spain, the victorious team will have the opportunity to showcase their talent on the world stage in July and August.
