Olu Jacobs, a celebrated figure in Nigerian cinema, has been battling dementia in recent years, a fact that has prompted frequent unfounded speculation about his health. Irabor took to Twitter to set the record straight, assuring everyone that “Olu Jacobs is well and alive. Please ignore all rumours of his passing.”

To further dispel the misinformation, Jacobs’ family released a video showing the actor in good spirits, effectively quelling the unfounded claims.

Jacobs’ wife, fellow actress Joke Silva, has been open about his health struggles.
