The remix, a collaboration between Davido, BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce, was an instant hit among fans. The official music video, which was uploaded on July 19, 2024, garnered significant attention before its unexpected removal from YouTube.

According to recent reports, the ‘Ogechi Remix’ music video was taken down following a copyright claim. Despite the video’s removal, the audio version remains available on BoyPee’s official YouTube page. Interestingly, it has been noted that Davido is not credited as the official artist for the song on the platform.

A trending video circulating on social media has shed light on the situation, revealing that the original version of ‘Ogechi’ was created by a different artist before the remix featuring Davido was released.
