The Governor made this declaration during his address to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary at the Arcade Ground, State Secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. He urged Nigerians to recommit to the vision of an egalitarian society, emphasizing the need for collective efforts in fostering national progress and prosperity.

A Call to Recommit to National Values

Governor Abiodun highlighted Nigeria’s history of overcoming significant obstacles and encouraged citizens to draw inspiration from the dedication of the nation’s founding fathers. These issues, he said, require urgent and sustained action from both the government and the people.

Supporting National Policies for Long-Term Growth
