Shola Abdulraheem’s solitary goal was enough to secure victory for Kwara United, leaving the Sky Blue Stars without a point from the encounter. Despite the setback, Ogunmodede remains optimistic about his team’s future performance, emphasizing their determination to meet their season’s objectives.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Ogunmodede said, “Despite not achieving our desired outcome in Ilorin, I’m proud of our resilience and incredible team spirit.” He encouraged the team to remain focused, adding, “Let’s keep pushing, full focus on the next challenge.”
Looking ahead, Remo Stars will aim to bounce back as they prepare to face Nasarawa United in their next Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture.
