CurrentReport Blog Air Peace has issued an official statement addressing reports of fraud charges brought against its Chief Executive Officer, Allen Onyema, and Chief of Finance/Administration, Mrs. Ejiro Eghagha, by the U.S. Department of Justice. The airline emphasized that the matter is still in court and assured the public that it is fully engaged in the legal process.

The charges stem from financial allegations dating back several years. Air Peace clarified that while the charges have been expanded, they remain just that—allegations—until proven otherwise in court. The airline expressed confidence that due process will ultimately exonerate Onyema and Eghagha.

“Our legal team is fully engaged with the matter and is working tirelessly to ensure that justice prevails. We remain confident that, through due process, the truth will be revealed and our CEO and co-defendant will be exonerated,” the airline’s statement read.

Air Peace reassured the public that its operations remain unaffected by the ongoing legal proceedings. The airline continues to provide its services as usual, maintaining its commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

The statement also highlighted that Onyema and his legal team have been cooperating with authorities throughout the legal process, and the airline’s operations have not been disrupted by the charges.

Air Peace remains committed to serving its customers, while the case proceeds through the legal system.
