Addressing urgent challenges, Okpebholo prioritized improving road infrastructure and pledged immediate action to make the state’s roads passable, addressing the significant obstacles residents face in moving between different parts of the state.
As part of his administration’s agenda, Okpebholo emphasized a focus on upgrading road infrastructure, including constructing essential drainage systems and bridges to ease transportation for all residents. He also promised support for small businesses and market vendors, including access to soft loans aimed at fostering local economic growth.
Education was another focal point of Okpebholo’s vision for Edo State. He announced plans to recruit more teachers and renovate dilapidated classrooms across the state, ensuring students have access to quality learning environments. Okpebholo also noted that his administration would strengthen tertiary education to elevate academic standards and support youth development through skill acquisition programs for self-empowerment.
In addressing rural development, Okpebholo outlined his commitment to connecting communities currently lacking electricity to the national grid, expanding access to power across Edo State.
