Portable Released on Bail After Petition Withdrawal by Saheed Osupa

CurrentReport Blog Nigerian singer Badmus Abeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been released on bail following the withdrawal of a petition against him by Fuji legend Saheed Osupa.

Portable, who was arrested on Saturday in Abeokuta and transported to Ilorin by the Kwara State Police Command, had faced charges of criminal intimidation, defamation, and threat to life.

According to official sources at the Oke-Kura custodial centre, Portable was released at 3:30 pm on Tuesday after authorities approved a variation of his bail conditions. Notably, before his release, Portable reportedly had a clean shave of his signature multi-coloured hair.

It was also revealed that Portable did not eat until Tuesday morning, marking his first meal since his incarceration on Monday. Two of his wives were present during his release from the correctional facility.

The case took a turn when Saheed Osupa, who was present in Ilorin, withdrew his petition, paving the way for Portable’s release.

Fans and followers are eagerly watching to see what the controversial music star does next following his brief time in custody.
