CURRENT REPORT BLOG Prior to their Round of 16 matchup with Cameroon, Super Eagles media officer Babafemi Raji declared on Friday in Abidjan that all of the players were healthy and geared up for combat.
At 9 p.m. (Nigerian time) on Saturday at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan, the Super Eagles and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will square off in a pivotal Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 match.
The Super Eagles training session took place at the Police Nationale Ecole de Police D’Abidjan on Friday, involving all 25 players.
Raji speaking on the training, stated that there were no injury concerns as all players were fit, ready and available for selection.
“No injury concerns, the players are pumped up and all members of the squad are available for selection and in good spirit.
“Tactically, the coaches have been working all day and night to ensure they get the right strategy for the match tomorrow.
