Anambra State Government Launches Campaign to End Sit-at-Home Order, Boost Business Confidence

This initiative seeks to revitalize business activities, restore confidence among traders, and foster economic stability within the region.

In a recent development, key government officials, including Chief of Staff Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Special Adviser on Trade and Markets Chief Evarist Uba, and Security counterpart AVM Ben Chiobi (Rtd.), have been deployed to various markets across the state. Their mission is to engage with traders directly, bolster their confidence, and urge them to resume normal business operations.

During their visit to major markets in the state, government representatives assured traders of maximum security measures to safeguard their businesses. Additionally, arrangements have been made with financial institutions across Anambra State to ensure that they are open for business on Mondays, facilitating smoother transactions and economic activity.

Speaking at the gatherings in Awka, Chief Ernest Ezeajughi emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to facilitating the full return of business activities on Mondays. He urged market leaders to collaborate with the government in encouraging traders to open their shops, warning against any attempts to sabotage the ongoing efforts aimed at revitalizing the state’s economy.
