Following the discovery of a young woman’s body in a Makurdi trash dump, the Benue State Police Command has launched an investigation.
State Police Public Relations Officer SP Catherine Anene, said, “We have already opened an investigation into the matter.
”The identity of the victim is still unknown.”
She assured that every effort would be made by the command to determine the cause of her death.
It was reported that the corpse which was found on Sunday, was tied, forced into a sack, and left at a refuse dump around Iorapuu Adai Street, Nyima Hudco Quarters, Makurdi.
A similar case of a woman said to be in her 30’s happened in July 2023.
