Despite Burna Boy’s notable Grammy performance, South African singer Tyla stole the spotlight by winning the Best African Music Performance award at the 2024 Grammy Awards. The award was presented during the 66th Grammy Award Premiere Ceremony at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, recognizing Tyla’s global success with the track reaching the top 10 in 16 countries.
