Bobrisky took to his Instagram account to assert his identity as a transwoman, challenging the label of ‘crossdresser’ that has long been associated with him by Instablog9ja.
In a bold move, Bobrisky publicly declared himself a transwoman, highlighting a perceived misconception in how he is addressed by the popular blogger. He took the opportunity to educate Instablog9ja and his followers about the distinction between a transwoman and a crossdresser, firmly asserting his stance on the matter.
Bobrisky, often referred to as the ‘Mummy of Lagos,’ emphasized that he has undergone extensive surgeries to align his physical appearance with his gender identity, claiming to have eliminated all male genitalia. This transformation, according to Bobrisky, necessitates a reevaluation of how he is identified, moving beyond the confines of mere crossdressing.
His post reads, “Dear instablog you don’t want to me to shine in peace, I noticed you are always writing cross dressers on ur caption when you post a gist about me. Is not like I’m even begging you to post my gist on ur page. Bob name alone is traffic and controversial enough.I don’t need ur post. 5,000,000 legit followers no small now.”
