CurrentReport Blog The newly elected Coordinator of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) in Jigawa State, Ukashatu Bello, has urged for collaborative efforts to ensure a secure, united, and progressive Northern Nigeria. Speaking during his acceptance speech in Dutse, the state capital, Bello highlighted the region’s ongoing challenges, including insecurity, poverty, and inadequate access to education and healthcare.
Bello emphasized the need for a stronger commitment from Northerners to overcome these issues and pledged to strengthen CNG’s role in promoting peace, unity, and justice across Northern Nigeria. He stated, “Our administration will work tirelessly to strengthen the coalition’s role in promoting unity, peace, and justice in the region.”
Bello further stressed the importance of fostering inclusion, transparency, and accountability in CNG’s operations, vowing to engage with all stakeholders to address the needs of Jigawa State and Northern Nigeria as a whole.
Other newly elected CNG executives include Shamsudeen Sani Kandi as Deputy State Coordinator and Nazir Garki as Secretary.
