CurrentReport Blog Former spokesperson of Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, has voiced his discontent with the boreholes provided by Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi, citing concerns over their quality.
Bwala highlighted issues regarding the boreholes’ quality, stating they undermine principles of equality, natural justice, and morality. He pointed out that the Anambra State Water Corporation faced challenges during Obi’s tenure as governor, questioning the adequacy of his water provision initiatives.
According to reports, Peter Obi recently concluded a tour of 19 northern states, where he donated boreholes to various communities, including Kaduna and Sokoto. While many Nigerians have appreciated this gesture, Bwala and others have raised objections.
Taking to his social media platform, Bwala expressed his views, stating, “You only need to see @PeterObi’s water corporation when he was governor to understand why he sponsored those boreholes that are repugnant to natural justice, equity, and good conscience.
That is his style of governance. You cannot give what you don’t have. I am so happy that the demographics he deceived in the 2023 elections are wiser now.”
