CurrentReport Blog Canadian rap superstar Drake made a surprise appearance at the Toronto stop of Nigerian singer Tems’ ‘Born In The Wild’ tour on Saturday night. The event took place at History, Toronto, and videos circulating online captured Drake sitting in the VIP section during Naomi Sharon’s set, nodding along to the performance.
Tems, who headlined the show, told fans she was battling a cold but was determined to give an unforgettable performance. “I have a cold but we’re gonna dance this cold away,” she announced to the crowd before delivering a powerful set featuring songs from her debut album Born In The Wild and her earlier projects.
Drake and Tems have previously collaborated on the song Fountain from Drake’s album Certified Lover Boy and also appeared together as guest artists on Future’s Wait 4 U, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
