CURRENT REPORT BLOG EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede has ordered the discontinuation of night-time sting operations in all EFCC commands, responding to the arrest of 69 suspected internet fraudsters in Osun State. Many of the suspects have been released, and further profiling will be completed in adherence to the rule of law, according to the statement. This move aims to improve the effectiveness and legality of the commission’s operations, given concerns about the impact of nighttime operations.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been advised to maintain the integrity of its operations and exercise caution in arresting suspects to prevent any potential harm or illegality.
