CurrentReport Blog The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 88 individuals during coordinated night raids across key areas in Abuja, according to intelligence sources reported by security analyst Zagazola Makama.
The operations, carried out around 11:40 p.m. on Friday night, involved police divisions from Lokogoma, Maitama, Wuse, Kubwa, Gwagwa, Dutse Alhaji, Karmo, Dawaki, Wuye, Utako, and Bwari. The raids targeted known criminal black spots and uncompleted buildings suspected to harbor criminal elements.
During the operation, police recovered quantities of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, along with other illegal substances.
All suspects are currently in custody and undergoing interrogation. Authorities confirmed that those found guilty of criminal involvement will be charged in court, while individuals cleared during the investigation will be released.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts by the FCT Police Command to maintain security and dismantle criminal networks across the capital.
