Governor Dauda Lawal Approves 13th-Month Salary for Zamfara Civil Servants

In a circular issued on December 28, 2024, by the Office of the Zamfara State Head of Service, the government announced that workers would receive a 30% bonus on their basic salary as the 13th-month payment.

Commitment to Workers’ Welfare

Governor Lawal’s spokesman, Sulaiman Bala Idris, emphasized that the initiative is one of several measures aimed at improving the well-being of workers in the state. Other key achievements under Governor Lawal include:

  • Clearing over ₦10 billion in gratuities owed for the past 11 years.
  • Approving a minimum wage of ₦70,000 for state workers.
  • Ensuring timely payment of workers’ salaries.

These initiatives reflect the administration’s dedication to fostering economic growth and enhancing the livelihood of its workforce.
