On the latest episode of the Tea with Tay podcast, The 35-year-old singer opened up about how she met Adekunle Gold, her husband.
She said she wasn’t aware Adekunle was a musical artist when they first met.
She added that she met Adekunle as a graphics designer and assumed he was just a die hard fan who had been longing to connect with her on Facebook.
“When I first met my husband, I did not know he was singing. Because I already said I cannot marry a singer. He used to do this King of Photoshop. I have never heard him sing up till that time. I think he was even a fan,” she said.
“He had sent me a message on Facebook. I never saw it. I still have not replied. I sensed that it was him that would be good for me.”
The duo got married in 2019 and since then continued to enjoy bliss in the music industry.
