On Friday, a Lagos appellate court upheld the election of Barr Peter Mbah as the governor of Enugu State. The ruling came from a three-member panel of the Appeal Court in response to a case filed by Barr Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party, LP.
The court affirmed the decision of the Enugu Tribunal, delivered on September 9, 2023, presided over by Hon. Justice K.M. Akano. All three issues raised in the appeal were resolved in favor of Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Stay tuned for further updates.
