Katsina State Strengthens Ties with Security Agencies: Governor Radda Rewards Outstanding Officers

This assertion was made during a ceremony to honor four exceptional police officers from the state command who received special awards from the Inspector General of Police for their excellence in combating insecurity.

Governor Radda expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support and dedication of all security forces in their joint effort to tackle the state’s security challenges. He emphasized the state government’s commitment to continuing this collaboration, recognizing the critical role that security agencies play in maintaining peace and safety in Katsina.

The event saw the governor awarding a total of N5.5 million to the four commendable officers as a token of appreciation for their outstanding performance. The breakdown of the rewards included N2 million to Chief Superintendent Andrew Alphonsus, N1.5 million to Superintendent Ibrahim Garba, and N1 million each to Assistant Superintendents of Police Awal Kabir and Iro Shuaibu.

Governor Radda reiterated the state’s resolve to persist in partnering with security agencies to achieve their common goals of enhancing security and ensuring the safety of all residents. This gesture of recognition and reward is part of a broader strategy to motivate and sustain high morale among security personnel.

The Commissioner of Police for Katsina State, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, accompanied the awarded officers to the Governor’s House, emphasizing that the Inspector General’s award aims to encourage exemplary performance among police personnel nationwide. CP Musa commended the governor’s support and the continued cooperation between the state government and the police force.
