CP Elleman made the statement during a Road Walk event organized to mark the National Police Day in Minna.
As part of his commitment to maintaining peace and security in Niger State, the newly appointed CP vowed to take decisive action against criminal elements, emphasizing that the police serve the public and not the other way around. He reassured residents of the state that their safety would remain a top priority, and efforts to eliminate criminal activities would intensify under his leadership.
In a related initiative, the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACO), led by Barrister Muhammad Isah, alongside the Police Public Relations Unit, conducted a sensitization program at the Police Secondary School. The program targeted students, educating them on the dangers of cultism, thuggery, indecent dressing, rape, and substance abuse. The outreach also featured free medical services provided to members of the public by police medical personnel.
The combined efforts reflect the ongoing commitment of the Niger State Police Command to fostering a safer, more secure environment for all residents. With these proactive measures, CP Elleman is determined to create a community where crime is not tolerated, and the well-being of the public is prioritized.
