This result sealed a 5-1 aggregate victory for Bankole Olowookere’s side, ensuring their place in the final qualifying round.
Harmony Chidi opened the scoring for Nigeria eight minutes before the break, extending her impressive performance from the first leg in Pretoria, where she also scored twice.
Eleven minutes into the second half, Aishat Animashaun doubled Nigeria’s lead, further solidifying their dominant performance on the day.
With the 5-1 aggregate win, Nigeria’s Flamingos will now face the winner of the ongoing game between Botswana and Algeria in the final round of qualifying.
