Thursday’s Outlook: NiMet’s forecast for Thursday paints a picture of diverse weather patterns across different regions. While the northern region can anticipate sunny skies with intermittent clouds, parts of Taraba may experience thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Similarly, the North Central region is expected to see a mix of cloudy skies and sunshine, with the possibility of thunderstorms in areas like Kwara, Kogi, Benue, and the Federal Capital Territory.

Friday’s Forecast: Moving into Friday, NiMet predicts sunny skies in the northern region during the morning hours, accompanied by patches of clouds. Meanwhile, the North Central region is likely to experience a blend of clouds and sunshine in the morning. Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms are expected in various states across the southern region, including Ondo, Enugu, Imo, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, Lagos, Bayelsa, and Cross River.
