CurrentReport Blog Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has predicted a landslide victory for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 16 local government elections. Speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Kayode Akinmade, Governor Abiodun expressed confidence that his administration’s achievements over the past five years, combined with the high caliber of APC candidates, would secure a decisive win across all 20 LGAs in Ogun State.

The governor highlighted that his administration has transformed Ogun’s political landscape, fostering an environment where opposition parties operate freely without intimidation. He emphasized that the APC’s track record of impactful development and innovative projects has effectively silenced opposition voices through performance rather than pressure tactics.

Governor Abiodun called on APC members to show unity and dedication as they work toward securing victory in the local government polls. “With the quality of candidates our party is presenting, the APC remains the party to beat,” he stated. He credited the party’s success to its community-focused initiatives, creative strategies, and prudent governance.

This election is expected to reflect the strong public support for the APC’s ongoing projects and development initiatives, which have set Ogun State apart as a leading model among other regions in Nigeria.
