CURRENT REPORT BLOG The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria has stated that, due to the depreciation of the naira against the United States dollar and the increase in crude oil prices in the international market, the pump price of petrol should be in the range of 890 to 900 naira per liter. Oil marketers assert that the ongoing forex crisis and the recent surge in crude oil prices have rendered it impossible for petrol prices to continue at 617 naira per liter. They maintain that the government has discreetly reintroduced fuel subsidies.
