The award ceremony, held on Monday night, recognized various achievements, including the team of the year, coach of the year, club of the year, and goal of the season. Osimhen’s remarkable contribution of 26 goals played a pivotal role in Napoli securing their first Scudetto in 33 years, and his stellar form has earned him nominations for prestigious awards like FIFA Best and Ballon d’Or. Additionally, Osimhen earned a spot in the Serie A team of the year alongside other notable players.
Despite facing challenges in the early stages of the 2023-24 campaign and coping with recent injuries, Osimhen has maintained an impressive goals-per-game ratio, scoring six goals in 10 appearances after 14 games.
