CurrentReport Blog: President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his confidence in Vincent Isegbe’s leadership by approving his reappointment as the Director-General of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS). Isegbe is set to continue his role for another five-year term, according to a statement released by Tinubu’s media aide, Ajuri Ngelale.
The decision comes in recognition of Isegbe’s successful tenure, during which NAQS achieved remarkable milestones. Notably, the service recently ranked among the top three agencies of the Federal Government of Nigeria in the efficiency and transparency index by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
President Tinubu expects Isegbe to further enhance NAQS’s performance and strengthen its impact on Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
