“I didn’t come to look for money and exploit the situation; I came to work. I asked for the votes, and Nigerians gave them to me,” Tinubu stated.
The president expressed his administration’s determination to deliver substantial results across key sectors, particularly in education and long-term economic stability. He reiterated his focus on ensuring positive change and progress for the country.
The meeting saw the attendance of 16 former presiding officers, including former Senate presidents, former speakers of the House of Representatives, as well as former deputy Senate presidents and deputy speakers. Tinubu’s message of commitment to service rather than self-enrichment resonated strongly with the leaders in attendance.
