In a poignant video message shared on her Instagram account, Luke Adanma revealed that despite efforts to ensure safety, Junior Pope opted not to wear a life jacket due to it being dirty. She recounted how other crew members, including the director and the Director of Photography (DOP), were equipped with life jackets, but unfortunately, the late actor chose not to take the precautionary measure.
According to Adanma, survivors of the tragic boat mishap recounted Junior Pope’s concern for everyone’s well-being even amidst the chaos. However, despite efforts to provide him with aid, including throwing a gallon for him to hold onto, he tragically disappeared amidst the tumultuous waters.
