CURRENT REPORT BLOG Nigerian Senators have voiced their concerns, alleging that Senate President Godswill Akpabio is passing bills without adequate communication with all Senators. In a video captured during today’s session, Senator Ali Ndume of Borno (APC) asserted that the Senate President is pushing bills through without considering Senators’ input.
He stated, “You are passing bills without prior notification, even including financial bills, and you pass them within just 2 hours. This isn’t in the best interest of Nigeria, and history will be the judge.”
These remarks come amid recent rumors of an impeachment process against Akpabio, which the Senate has denied.
