CurrentReport Blog Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has suggested that all Manchester United players should be considered for sale as new manager Ruben Amorim seeks to rebuild the team for future success.

Writing for Caught Offside, Collymore emphasized that Amorim needs strong backing from the club’s hierarchy to succeed. The Red Devils, who spent around £180 million on transfers this summer, are expected to continue reshaping their squad under Amorim’s leadership.

Collymore’s Advice to Amorim

Collymore believes Amorim should assess his players thoroughly before deciding who stays or goes. He wrote:

“I think that if he has the wind in his sails and the correct support from the new recruitment structure that Manchester United now have, he can be successful. But in terms of players, I think that they’re all up for sale.”

He added that even high-profile stars like Casemiro, Marcus Rashford, and Amad Diallo should prove their worth over 15 to 20 games by delivering consistent nine-out-of-10 performances.

Amorim, who recently took over as Manchester United manager, faces significant challenges as he looks to improve the team’s performance. With the Red Devils’ inconsistent start to the season, Collymore’s comments reflect growing calls for a comprehensive squad overhaul to match Amorim’s tactical demands.

With the January transfer window approaching, speculation is rife about potential sales and new signings at Old Trafford. Amorim’s vision for the team, supported by United’s recruitment structure, will be pivotal in shaping their future success.
