The Imo Harmony Project, IHP together with Leadership of OZOPOLF had a parley at the government house, Monday 10th March 2025 with the Governor. His Excellency at the meeting thanked the stakeholders from Owerri Zone for their continued support to his administration. He reiterated his support and desire to usher in the Charter of Equity in 2027. The leader of the group, Capt. Emma Ihenacho in his opening address praised the Governor for the wonderful infrastructural developments in the State under his tenure and urged him to continue in his good works. He informed the Governor that IHP is a movement for the realization of the Charter of Equity as ordained by the Imo State Council of Elders and upheld by him before the 2023 Governorship election. He confirmed that the leadership of IHP and OZOPOLF are twins working assiduously towards supporting him to achieve the Charter of Equity for Owerri Zone. He prayed that God will give him the courage and strength to plant peace in Imo State for posterity.
Dr, Mrs Kema Chikwe described him as the best Governor in Nigeria based on his sterling performance to the surprise of the citizens. The amazon of Owerri zone described Governor as God’s gift to Imo and thanked him for providing the Charter to stabilize his tenure and thereafter. She prayed for God’s guidance and direction as he steers the ship of the State.
The Governor in his address described Owerri Zone as his age long partners in progress since 1999 when as a very young man, together with leaders of Owerri zone made it possible for an Orlu son to be made a Governor in the person of Chief Achike Udenwa, 1999-2027.
He believed that God did not make a mistake in making him the Governor at this particular time, as he is committed to reciprocate the kind gesture of Owerri zone to Orlu in1999. He however, cautioned Owerri zone not to take the Charter of Equity for granted but rather be united with a collective unity of purpose devoid of greed, hatred and blackmail to help him achieve this legacy of fairness and brotherhood in the State.
Speaking in vote of thanks, General Ihekire rtd, praise the Governor for his struggles and bravery in combating the insecurity that greeted his administration in 2020, as well as his commitment to the Charter of Equity. He described him as the author of Charter of Equity and promised him that Imolites will surely celebrate his sense of justice and brotherhood in the years ahead.
The meeting is the first of its kind after the pronouncement of the Charter of Equity by the Imo State Council of Elders, the Governor, the Traditional Rulers, critical stakeholders and the Clergy with a non denominational church service to bless it. He assured the Governor that the zone believes in him and will never let him down.

Tochi Okere, Chief Charles Amadi, Chief Mercelinus Nlemigbo, Dr, Mrs Julie Onyeukwu, Chief, Henry Njoku, Dr, Ada Okwuonu, Rev. Gerald Njoku, Soronadi, Njoku,SAN, Prince Lemmie Akakem, Barr. George Eke, Chief Okenze Obinna, TPL Steve Onu, Chief CY Anyanwu, Commodore Ogechi Osuagwu, Arch. Amaugo Ugorji, Chief Christogonus Ugochukwu Okoro, Barr. Willie Amadi, Prof. Onyekuru, Prof. Edna Mathew- Njoku, Dr. Mcdonald Ebere, Sir Chimdi Ejiogu, Dr Sha Okorie, Chief Dennis Okwu, Chief Austin Onwubiko, Prince.Okechukwu Okoro, all elected House of Assembly members, the Clergy and appointees of the government from Owerri Zone were in attendance.
The parley ended with praises of unlimited infrastructural performance, a vote of confidence moved by Hon. Tochi Okere, seconded by the members of Imo State House of Assembly on behalf of the entire people of Owerri Zone on the performing Governor- General of the South East, our own dear son and leader, Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma, a God sent Governor. Fr, Gerald Njoku led us in prayer.
