CURRENT REPORT BLOG On Friday, the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) delivered a last caution to Arise Television for its use of offensive and inflammatory language during its broadcasts. In a warning letter dated October 6, 2023, and signed by the Director-General of the NBC, Dr. Balarabe Illelah, the commission encouraged the TV station to implement a delay mechanism to prevent the dissemination of undesirable content. This warning comes eight months after the NBC imposed a fine of 2 million Naira on Arise TV for violating Nigeria’s broadcasting regulation
