CURRENT REPORT BLOG Bola Tinubu has endorsed the Ratification of the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria. This protocol was adopted during the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly, which took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on January 29, 2018.
In an official statement released on Thursday by the presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu declared, “I, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, hereby confirm the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s acceptance of the aforementioned Protocol and commit to faithfully abide by and fulfill the provisions contained therein.”
Concluding his endorsement, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, affixed his signature and the Seal of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to this Ratification Instrument in Abuja on the 19th day of October in the year Two Thousand and Twenty-Three.
