In a TikTok video, Vee spoke candidly on the issue, asserting that many Nigerian women are currently living off men. She highlighted how sex has become increasingly “transactional” in Nigeria and stressed that this phenomenon needs to be addressed. According to Vee, the exchange of sex for material gain has become normalized in Nigerian society, and this needs to be checked before it spirals further.

Vee also questioned the motivations of the person who recorded the conversation between Sophia and her friend, calling them “the devil’s friend.” She went on to emphasize that this situation, like many others, reflects the transactional nature of relationships in Nigeria.

“It’s demand and supply,” Vee remarked. “Everything has become very transactional. We normalize it now and pay the price later.” She further added that the ongoing debate around such incidents is largely unproductive, as this pattern of behavior will likely continue.

With many Nigerian women living in “survival mode,” Vee pointed out that these circumstances bring out the worst in people. She concluded that while the issue needs to be addressed, it is unlikely to change anytime soon.

Vee’s comments have sparked further conversation on the growing issue of transactional sex in Nigeria and the societal pressures that contribute to it. The debate continues, with many questioning the ethical and moral implications of such exchanges.
