The clash between Oturpo-Ojile and Ochi-Ibadan escalated from an unfortunate incident where a villager from Ochi-Ibadan allegedly killed a man returning from Lagos to Oturpo-Ojile. This incident triggered a chain of events that culminated in a reprisal attack by enraged youths from Oturpo-Ojile.

Seeking justice for the loss of their fellow villager, youths from Oturpo-Ojile reportedly carried out a reprisal attack on Ochi-Ibadan.
