This brings the total number of Iranian officers killed in recent strikes to four.

Local Iranian media confirmed, “Two more Air Defense Officers of the Iranian army are reported dead from last night’s Israeli strike, bringing the total of dead Iranian servicemen to 4.”

On Saturday, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) stated it had conducted “targeted” attacks on Iran’s military infrastructure, later confirming that its aircraft safely returned to base, according to reports from Reuters. The IDF’s actions are seen as a high-stakes retaliatory measure, raising fears of a possible wider regional conflict in the Middle East.
