The reigning champions opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Yunus Akgun, who slotted home confidently to give the Yellow and Reds an early lead. Just moments into the second half, Osimhen doubled the advantage, finishing clinically after being teed up by Akgun once again.
It was the 21st league goal of the season for the Nigerian striker, who has now tallied 28 goals and 5 assists in 33 appearances across all competitions. The 26-year-old, who has been a dominant force in front of goal, was substituted in the 76th minute for Spanish international Álvaro Morata.
With this win, Galatasaray remain top of the Turkish Super League table, sitting on 74 points from 29 matches as they push for a third consecutive league title.
