CurrentReport Blog Operatives from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) conducted a raid on Wednesday targeting Bureau de Change operators in the Sabo area of Ibadan.

Earlier this week, the EFCC had similarly raided Bureau de Change operators in the Wuse Zone 4 area of Abuja, resulting in the apprehension of around 50 illegal operators.
In response to the devaluation of the naira, the EFCC has initiated a Special Task Force across its commands to crack down on individuals involved in defacing the currency and fostering the dollarization of the Nigerian economy.
