Wike Commends Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda During FCT Road Project Inspections

Wike expressed his satisfaction on Wednesday during an inspection tour of ongoing road construction projects in Bwari and Kwali area councils of the FCT.

The minister inspected key projects, including the rehabilitation of the 5-kilometre Dutse/Usuma Dam Road, the War College/Army Checkpoint upgrades, and other auxiliary roads in Bwari Area Council. In Kwali Area Council, he assessed the progress on the 25-kilometre Kwaita/Yebu Road and the 11-kilometre Yangoji-Sukuku-Ebo Road.

Speaking to journalists after the inspection, Wike commended the contractors for their impressive pace and quality of work, adding that the projects align with the vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“I can’t believe what I’m seeing. We thank God that the Renewed Hope Agenda is alive and working. The length and impact of these roads on communities are amazing,” said Wike.

The minister emphasized the administration’s commitment to ensuring steady funding for the projects, promising to remove financial bottlenecks for the contractors.

The inspected roads are expected to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and boost economic activities within the FCT. Wike reiterated the government’s determination to improve infrastructure in rural and urban areas alike, further solidifying the Tinubu administration’s commitment to national development.
